2018 – present
Shane began working for an eCommerce company that sells all natural, whole food supplements. Shane helped transition www.perfectsupplements.com from a clunky Volusion platform to sleeker BigCommerce platform which included better design tools and a larger selection of applications.
Shane manages all aspects of BigCommerce and its various apps and software including, MailChimp, Shogun, ShippingEasy, ShipBob, Attentive, LiveChat, Judge.me, etc. Shane designs all marketing material including sales graphics, product graphics, product labels, social media posts, etc. as well as performing quality control and managing 3rd party testing for 40+ Perfect brand products. Shane is a key decision maker within the company by consulting on business decisions including creation of new products, warehouse processes, software usage, and software training.
2012
Shane worked for the retailer Golf & Ski Warehouse where he helped build and manage an eCommerce Website. Shane managed a team of 6 employees and was fully responsible for the accuracy of content for over 4,000 products. In this role, Shane designed and built email blasts, created all graphics for the eCommerce website, designed print material, banner ads and other promotions.
2005
After a move to New England, Shane began working for Relyon Media as the Senior UI Designer on contracts with SAMHSA, HUD, IFC and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. Shane Brenizer’s skill set includes: gathering requirements, mapping out user-flows, building flowcharts, branding, heuristic reviews, rapid prototyping and web development.
1997
Shane become an Art Director at another design firm who’s clients included the National Aquarium in Baltimore, the National Endowment for the Arts and several banks. Seeing a need for a web-based mortgage trading platform, the design firm started building one. Because of Shane’s knowledge of how websites and software were built, the under the hood stuff, Shane became the Senior User Interface Designer for the venture. With this experience, Shane has been contracted for user interface design work on projects ranging from the U.S. Navy, Marriott Corporation, iHire, UserWorks and a UK-based telecommunications company.
1992
Shane Brenizer’s foray into the graphic design world began at design boutique in Georgetown, Washington DC. Designing graphics for night clubs, raves, restaurants and coffee shops was only the beginning. Technology was changing fast. Shane and the design boutique kept pace. CD-Rom were the latest and greatest thing. Graphic design became user interface design. Static graphics became interactive graphics. Icons became animations. Clients included Microsoft, Snickers, AIC and Prodigy. But the CD-Rom craze soon fell apart with the invention of something called “the web”. The race was on – again. Learn HTML, Style Sheets, Javascript and internet protocol all while keeping everything looking beautiful. Shane worked on large scale projects for FedEx, Kellogg’s, Bayer and Mercedes-Benz.
